no pude seguir corriendo, por el peso de el error cometido, no me gusta correr así, y cuando dejo fuera de carrera a un competidor, es mejor que también yo me retire. vuelvo y reitero, lo siento mucho amigo.

Well that was a lucky one.

Congratulations to Paul and Gaizka for their fantastic race and amazing pace.

Tago made a tremendous effort to get ahead of me at the start but for once I managed to prevail. I hung in the slipstream of Paul and Gaizka for as long as I dared and this pulled me away from the chasing pack, especially Tago.
After a while I began to worry about fuel and started short shifting and it wasn't long before the leading pair had vanished.
I tried to just keep it tidy but still managed to stuff my Lancia into the straw at the hairpin on three occasions.

Thanks for the racing this season.

As long as I live, I'll never understand what the dickens was going on with T2(Sear). No less than four...yes, FOUR...spins there in the race costing me upwards of 30 seconds all told. Laps 07, 10, 16 and 24. For the last, I literally screamed out loud, "OH, C'MON!". I mean, it was as if someone dumped a bucket of oil down there and I was first to come along and find it. Each time, the tail swung out and I was powerless to hold the slide. Sigh...

Along the way, I had some dicing with Xuggy and Cayo but they each fell be the wayside with misfortunes. The race for the lead was as exciting as it gets with Gaizka and Paul slugging it out. Only in the last laps did Paul get the advantage to hang on for a close win. Well done, chaps.

Clive... After your post above noting some overruns into the Hairpin, I took a look-see. How did you ever survive those impacts? That Lancia must be built like a brick!
