Great images from both the real 1966 Dutch GP and our virtual example. Thanks for posting, Tago.

I'm back here not to comment on GPL but rather to offer my support and condolences to all in Spain whom have suffered great damage and personal loss with scores of fatalities in the current flooding situation. How dreadful. :(
Those who do not learn from history will be condemned to relive its mistakes.

Thank you, Doni, for your message. Fortunately, the flood has not affected the northern part of the metropolitan area, where we live. I do have friends and acquaintances who have suffered consequences, luckily only material damage. Yesterday we volunteered to bring supplies and clean up, but now volunteers are no longer needed because organized help is already arriving.

I visited Valencia some years back for a work conference - what a beautiful city it was and will be again!. We stayed in the old town and walked down the old river bed to the Oceanogràfic València for recreation. I cannot imagine how many peoples lives have been lost - I fear the number will grow - and how many more have had their lives and livelihoods ruined. Our thoughts are with you all.
