Buena sesión de entrenos ayer con Xug, Aita y Clive. Entré al servidor con el tiempo justo para completar la vuelta de salida de boxes e ir directo a carrera. Al salir tras Clive, aproveché la ocasión para seguirle y reaprenderme este circuito con el mod 55. ¡Gracias! En la siguiente sesión de qualy al final acabó cayendo un 1:14 con el setup por defecto

Nice training with Xug, Tago & Clive yesterday. Following the latter was very helpful to speed up the process of relearning this track for the 55F1 mod. Thanks! PB so far: 1:14 (default setup)

Did you know that Coquitlam was home to Canada’s first purpose-built road racing circuit? For more than 30 years, the sounds of revving engines and cheering fans could be heard high up on the mountain at Westwood Racing Circuit. From humble beginnings, the track grew to prominence thanks to the passion and hard work of a dedicated group of racing enthusiasts who built and ran the track. Some of North America’s most famous drivers competed at Westwood and, although the track itself is a distant memory, it lives on in the minds of the drivers and fans.

Overview

Westwood Motorsport Park holds a special place in the annals of Canadian motor racing history, as it was the country's first permanent, purpose-built road racing facility.

For 32 seasons it was one of the favourite tracks among drivers in North America, playing host to at least one F1 World Champion (Keke Rosberg), two Indianapolis 500 winners (Bobby Rahal and Danny Sullivan), a number of drivers who went on to drive in F1 and CART, and, of course, the late great Gilles Villeneuve. It was also the course where a young Greg Moore caught the bug for racing.
