I have stated previously that I'm keen to try cars this season which I've never used at the venues on tap. Originally, I'd spec'd the Honda RA273 but in a closer look at my records, I discovered that I have, indeed, used the 'Red Ball Special' at Monza67. Accordingly, I'm dropping it in favour of the Cooper T81. This is a car in which I have precious little seat time so am looking forward to it knowing how good the GP67 car performs. Initial trials in the T81 at the Italian speedrome are encouraging.

I thought the Ferrari would be a good option to fight David here but if I still find a Cooper in good condition for sale I might buy it for this race .... I feel like a millionaire

I looked for the server last night but I was obviously too early and the Vampire Shift had not yet come on duty.

I hope to make this one and have given the Lotus L43 a wipe over with an oily rag.



Busqué el servidor anoche, pero obviamente llegué demasiado temprano y el Turno Vampiro aún no había entrado en servicio.

Hola, Tago! My one and only trial thus far with the Cooper at Monza has me down with a best of 1m34.52s so it looks like you and I are in for a fight.

I hate this latest, tarted up, version of Monza.
I wish that they had left the same dirty marks on the road as then I might know where I was.
They seem to have gone out of their way to hide the brake boards in the shaddows or make them invisible.

I started to practice on the old version and got down to a 1:33.8 in the Lotus43 but I now seem to have another two seconds to find!

Did they change anything else but the eye candy?

Hello, Clive... I can't say for sure but I would seriously doubt that the original Papy version and the new '67' model are identical in the track layout. One would also need to compare the track length as displayed in GPLRA and for it to be metre-to-metre exact is a bit of a stretch.

Clive ... I am sure this new monza67 is slightly different from the original one

For me there are differences in the way lesmos drive ... I remember I had to relearn it ... and it took me a while to adapt

Anyway I love it

I have found some of the brake markers and done a partial translation of the dirty marks on the road.

Lotus 43 now at 1:34.02 but it still doesn't feel like home!
