Yesterday it was a busy day at Ferrari
With all the media focused in Italy, our online training in Bathurst went unnoticed
Best lap so far: 2:22.2 (default setup & low fuel for the time being)
Puede que ayer todos los focos estuvieran en Ferrari , pero nadie se percató de la sesión de entrenos en Bathurst del equipo de carreras
Marqué un 2:22.2 utilizando el setup por defecto y con baja carga de gasolina
Seeing as how I'm about seven seconds off Gaizka's lap time, I'm going to try and sneak a turbo by the scrutineer crew. Not hopeful of success on that.
Those who do not learn from history will be condemned to relive its mistakes.
Just on the server for FP1. Nobody else to be seen. Cut some laps and very pleased indeed to cut a new personal best in the Vanwall with a 2m27.93s effort.

Por si alguno anda pensando en entrenar con alguien en pista ... hoy viernes aproximadamente 22.30 Gaizka y yo estaremos en pista In case anyone is thinking about training with someone on the track... today friday around 22.30 Gaizka and I will be on the track.
Had some very useful time with Tago and Gaizka on the server last night.
When we had a short race I was hanging on to Gaizka for the first three laps but then put a wheel on the grass on the approach to T2 and I was finished. With me out of the way, Gaizka was able to do a couple of laps on minimum brakes and then finish with a qually lap that was a very low 2:22, suggesting that pole might be a 2:21!
Yesterday's Free Practice sessions were a great training for today's race. Thank you everyone.
So far my PB is 2:21 (with and without tow), but I find it difficult to hit it consistently.
Every time I join the server it takes time to retake the level of feeling & confidence in the car and the track.
Plus brakes management is my biggest challenge with this heavy Ferrari.

6 N. Xug FER 2:29.52
I managed to get the Connaught into the 2:23s giving me 3rd place on the grid.
On the first lap Clive made a mistake which allowed me to pass him. The rest of my race was spent trying to keep him behind me.
At the end of the race Gaizka finished 36 second ahead of me equating to 2 seconds per lap which is about what I expected in clean air. Clive finished 3 seconds behind me.
Well done Gaizka for the win and Clive for the podium.
