Just nicely off the pre-test PDLR server with the SC mod at LeMans. The patches seem to be working but I found a curious thing with the variable refuel parameter. Starting with 6USG, I pulled into the pits after a couple of laps to test the refuel and indeed, received service but as the fuel gauge got up to about 12USG, it reverted to 6USG. Another try had me cut off the refuel at 10USG and when finished, it dropped back to my initial load of 6USG. Something not quite right here.

Interested to see what happens in the test later today.

Hola, Xuggy...

If you are saying that you can't see your pit stall at LeMans Bsarthe, place these two line in you 'trackSC.ini' file. With luck, you may now find your pit stall.

lane_bounds_dlong = 2.0 250.0 ; start/end dlong of the pit lane
lane_bounds_dlat = -13.5 -8.5 ; start/end dlat of the pit lane

The two original lines which these above replace should be deleted. Save the file after the change. Fingers X'd.

Offline tests still show a cutoff of the refuel quantity plus a step back to the initial fuel load. Very odd. As a trial, I just tried the GP68 mod that we intended to test last week and I could refuel my Matra MS11 to over 100USG!

Edit: Forgot to mention... Somewhat stormy weather in my area today. We've had thunderstorms. If they return during the test, I'll be forced to sign off.

My refueling works

The box must be placed before leaving ... by some graphic that tells you where it will be when you return ... and you must enter slowly.

The brief test with Tago & Xuggy went off with mixed results for me. As I found earlier, I can get a refuel procedure started in my pit stall but it checks out early despite constant pressure on the key and, worse, drops back to my initial start fuel load. That isn't what I'd be looking for. The curious thing is that I can receive unlimited fuel from the GP68 mod which we recently looked at. In a test today, I tried my Matra MS11 and dropped into the pits for a gas-up. I released the key after seeing fully 103USG...something on the far side of 400 litres...installed. No telling how much more I could have put in the tank.

Clearly, something not quite right here.

Quote from Readme file: "This patches should work On- and Ofline, with 36fps and with 60fps and with other patches together, but it's not recommended to use Lees Refuel and this refuel_var patch at the same time."
If you use both at the same time, exactly what you wrote will happen.

Correct. It is possible to fill up with an infinite amount of fuel. But it makes no sense to fill up with more fuel than necessary - unless you are masochitic. Too much fuel definitely slows you down.
That's why I didn't put a cap on it. My days are too short to spend doing unnecessary things.

Ah. I see. In checking my GEM lead page and the options box, I note now that I had Lee's pit stop patch checked off as well as the refuel_var selection. Two into one don't go. In future, I'll make sure to uncheck Lee's option. Thanks for the tip.
