En serio, si comienzas a practicar con volante (que es lo que tendrias que hacer..) piensa en ponerte las menos trabas posibles (como la silla con ruedas..)

Bueno, si nadie habla... hablo yo. Ahi va mi previa:

Empecé a entrenar la semana pasada el circuito y enseguida me sorprendí a mi mismo de la facilidad con la que me salían 48's y los pocos accidentes y salidas de pista que tenía... Pero.... llegó este fin de semana y activé los daños del coche y, para mi sorpresa, no lograba dar más de 5 vueltas sin romper el motor. Desistalé las mejoras gráficas del circuito, por si acaso, pero parece que no es ese el problema.
Para la primera curva metía muy rápido tercera y con el reparto de frenada que tenía y con un poco de tacto la podía tomar sin problemas y sin errores vuelta tras vuelta, pero con el tema este del motor ahora intento esperar más a meter la tercera y no doy con el reparto de frenada adecuado, yo creo que el idóneo para mi seria 51'5%. En la peraltada también tengo problemas similares... antes tiraba muchísimo de freno motor, pero ahora procuro evitarlo y no consigo equilibrar el coche de manera consistente.
Total, que ahora ya no tengo tantos problemas de motor, pero tengo muchas más salidas de pista y soy mucho menos consistente.
Para más inri, además, en esta carrera tengo el mismo problema que tenía Julián en Daytona... como no me clasifique para la A, no puedo correr la B en Imola y por lo tanto no podré participar alli y encima tendría que correr la B en el karting ese que tiene muros y hay gente por alli enfermos de dineritis.
Así que nada... no me queda otra que adoptar un planteamiento conservador. Intentaré calificar lo más arriba posible y luego rodar lo más seguro posible (digo intentaré, porque luego en la práctica veo a uno delante y olvido los conservadurismos y las leches y acabo petando motor tras salirme de la pista cinco veces, como si lo viera.. jeje).

Bueno, al final no peté motor. Las recomendaciones de calentar el aceite antes de freir las patatas han dado sus frutos.
Hice una qualy bastante maleja, podia haber bajado a 48, pero no fuí capaz, asi que 11 en parrilla.
En la salida salí mas o menos bien, pero justo antes de T1 me pasó un lotus como una exhalación y dudé y me fuí contra el guardarrail y Xug, que venía detrás, impactó contra mi y se armó una buena pelotera.
Reinicié y creo que salí ultimo de la primera curva. Estaba acojonao en puestos de "descenso". Pasaban las vueltas y seguía en puestos de irme a la B... Error por aquí, trompito por alla... La verdad es que estuve rodando bastante mal, pero poco a poco fuí recogiendo "cadáveres" y subiendo posiciones, hasta que a unas 3 vueltas para el final vi en el pribluda que me estaba acercando a Chema (que estaba mas de 20 segundos delante mío) y me intenté concentrar al máximo para ver si le podía incordiar un poco, pero Juan Luis dió el banderazo a cuadros antes de que le consiguiese echar mano.
No tuve ni una lucha en toda la carrera, totalmente solo todo el rato.
Bueno, la menos mantuve la categoría. La próxima será en Imola, que al menos el campeonato anterior se me dió bastante bien.

Los entrenos bien..hasta mucho mejor de lo que me esperaba. Tenia la conviccion que no bajaria del 49, con lo que estaria sobre el decimo puesto en parrilla. Las primeras vueltas me dieron la razon porque iba marcando cincuentas y algun 49. Vuelvo a los pits y salgo con poca gasolina. En la segunda vuelta de esta tanda no se ni como lo hago y marco un 48. Eso me coloca en cuarta posicion. Y yo contento....!
Finalmente salgo quinto y por el carril exterior.

La salida se prevee complicada. J. Luis nos marca bandera verde y sigo por el exterior. Al llegar al punto de frenada veo que voy tercero pero por fuera...e irremediablemente pierdo adherencia y me voy contra el muro. Decido por precaucion no entrar en el embudo de la curva porque la puedo liar. Voy por la hierba y de la quinta paso a la decima plaza al dejar atras los neumaticos. Lo bueno, pienso, es que no he tocado a nadie y no ha habido jaleo por culpa mía.

Me encuentro delante a xavy, pero lo puedo adelantar mas o menos rapido porque se le va de detras y le adelanto antes de la peraltada.

Vueltas mas tarde veo que delante tengo al amigo franky y el a su vez a seninha. Tienen sus mas y sus menos.... y en estas veo que seninha pierde el control del cooper y lo adelantamos franky y yo. Yendo juntos el tio no se deja pasar, se defiende muy bien tapando wecos y saliendo muy bien de la peraltada. Yo tampoco le queria presionar mucho porque no le queria dar por detras.... no era cuestion de "fer el burru" y mandarlo too al carajo, yendo septimo y con muchas vueltas por delante. De todas formas su ritmo era ideal y yo no era mas rapido que el.

En las eses veo que comete un error y se le va de atras, momento en que lo paso y me coloco sexto.

En sexto lugar hasta la vuelta 18, que rompo motor en un mal cambio.

Antes de romper ya veia el rifi-rafe de julian y manel y tambien notaba que les estaba cogiendo un trozito cada vuelta, aunque no los hubiera adelantado.

* La presion de seninha durante dos vueltas ha sido de ahogarse. Creo que ha cometido un error y por fin lo he podido dejar 3 segundos detras mio.

*En esta race no me he divertido tanto como en kya. Supongo que al no llevar tan bien el circuito, he sufrido mas para seguir el ritmo y eso se nota. Y los que vienen ahora si que son para ponerse las pilas...

*No me llevo muy buen recuerdo de Mexico. Es posible que con el sexto si que me lo hubiera llevado, aunque la sensacion general es que no he corrido muy a gusto.

* Y mención especial para el carreron de MANEL!!!! ha corrido muy bien en dura pugna con julian, y se merece este quinto puesto.
Y gracias por los puntos que aporta al Gurney Team, que creo nos ayudará a mantener el liderato...

Bueno, bueno...interesante carrera hemos tenido en México. Ya sé que casi es un tópico, pero fue una de esas carreras que me recuerdan por qué sigo dándole al GPL, a pesar de Netkars, LFS y demás simuladores. El GPL es único, el más exigente, requiere concentración total en cada movimiento, y te recompensa con grandes momentos, más que cualquier otro sim (Uy si lee esto el Wellmaster... )

Esta vez pude entrenar bastante, y los entrenos me fueron bien. En la carrera B no estaba muy a gusto con el coche, y aunque no tuve que forzar mucho, no me veía con suficiente confianza para afrontar la A con garantías. Así que me puse a entrenar....Franky me pasó un setup de Gaizka, y gracias a ello me encontré de golpe mucho más a gusto con el coche. Fue como abrir los ojos de golpe, ahora podía hacer con el coche (casi) lo que quería, veía muy claro como frenar, tomar las curvas y dar gas, como controlar las derrapadas del coche con el gas y el volante, y durante la semana lo fui perfeccionando. Ahora podía rodar en 48s sin muchos problemas, y marqué un PB de 1.48.1, con parciales para rodar en 47 alto...aunque claro está que la perfección aún me queda muy lejos

Llegaba confiado, pero no sabía qué pasaría en carrera, si podría aguantar el ritmo de los mejores o no. En principio no me planteaba poder seguir a Carral, pensaba que además habría algun otro "tapado", y con un tercer puesto iba a estar muy satisfecho.

Llegamos a la qualy...hago una buena vuelta, un 48 medio, pero podría haberlo hecho un poco mejor...bueno, no me salió la vuelta perfecta, pero cuarto en la salida no estaba mal, y viendo la igualdad que hay se planteaba una carrera muy interesante

Salida...!! Sin que sirva de precedente, esta vez hago una buena salida y me pongo segundo detrás de Grego. Carral me pisa los talones...En la horquilla Grego se pasa y me meto por dentro sin dudarlo...primero!! Mejor imposible....a partir de ahí, intento concentrarme en tirar al máximo y olvidarme del Kaiser.

Funcionó durante unas vueltas, cogí algo de ventaja...hasta que mi débil concentración empezó a flaquear, y algunos errores y bajadas de ritmo hicieron que Javi se me acercase. Estuvimos así las primeras 15 vueltas, casi pegados, él estaba muy cerca pero no podía adelantarme. Me concentraba en salir bien de la parabólica y evitar que me cogiera el rebufo en la recta, cosa de por sí ya bastante difícil tratándose del cooper.

Y nada, todo iba bien hasta que después de 15 vueltas, al meter tercera antes de la penúltima ese, doy un poco más de gas de la cuenta, los neumáticos me dicen que si quiero tracción mejor los cambie por unos slicks, y el coche se me va, pegando un trompito mientras Carral me pasa y se pone primero.

De ahí al final fue como antes pero con las posiciones cambiadas...una carrera muy divertida, lástima del trompo, pero al menos me queda el consuelo de la vuelta rápida

Ahora a descansar una semanita y preparar la siguiente.

Enhorabuena a Javi, no sólo va rápido sino que no comete errores... Y también a Dani que estuvo toda la carrera ahí y se llevó el premio del podio.
