My run in today's first pre-qualifying session went OK with the exception that I was a little concerned with my NET connection. My display bars...upper right of my monitor screen...spiked several times even when running alone. Fears of running in a pack as in Buenos Aires when Quico passed me for the lead. Fingers X'd that it works out OK.
CYA tomorrow for...GULP!...24 laps!

Good to know that Doni ... It happen the same to me the whole Q yesterday ... It should be the hook we are using for the 55 server ... it is a 3G/4G Router ... Hope to be using a new and better hook soonDoni Yourth escribió:My run in today's first pre-qualifying session went OK with the exception that I was a little concerned with my NET connection. From 3rd to pole you would have stayed in the same row just having to let 2 cars pass you, but avoiding risks you came out from pits that's a gentleman driver ..... then you gave us a driving lesson coming to step on Doni and Sergio
The fact is that depending on where the finish/start line is, when you complete the installation lap you got a time ... in monaco you almost always get "bad" time already in the first round

Another solid victory for Quico here at Monaco. Great pace and error-free driving. That last factor is so supremely important on this tight street circuit. Well done, Q!
A rather fortunate P2 for me thanks to some mis-adventures by Tago and Xug but mostly, due to Sergio losing his sound function. This is an enormous handicap and one which I've had to deal with before myself. No fun and no joke. I feel like a thief stealing P2 on the last lap. Not to be forgotten is Clive who started from pit lane after a qualifying gaffe. I knew from past experience here that doing so means that GPL scores you a lap down as you start down-track from the S/F line. After I managed to get up to P3 and in going by the tower on pit straight, I saw a blue car coming down the straight towards the Gasworks hairpin and figured that this just had to be Clive fighting back from his delayed start. My pit board showed Xug as the man chasing me some distance back but I knew full well that it was Clive that I needed to be wary of. I had to work quite hard to keep the gap relatively stagnate. Managed to keep the Maser off the barriers and bring it home a most surprising P2. I'd rather be lucky than good any day.
Off to Switzerland next and the high-speed Bremgarten circuit. Should be fun!
