FP3 practice results... 3 drivers within half a tenth! What a pleasure it was to be part of all practice sessions tonight, one can only hope that tomorrow will be even better... Shame Roger that you ran out of brakes in the final practice race. At first I thought my move was slightly overambitious, but then in chat I could read what happened.
No problem Lasse. The position was yours, (and you are quicker than me by far), but I was trying to keep at left, but my brakes were totally burned so, after hitting the right wall, my car went to the outside where you are.
Happy to be "relatively" close to the front again in very short time, but Paul, Lasse, Clive and of course Gaizka are from another planet

We have another interested driver. This person races under the name Thierry Red and has taken part in two 55 cup races with GPLRacer. He is known to me through Discord, over there I helped him a bit to get GPL running. He always seemed very positive about the 55 mod, hence why I asked him about his interest. He said his car choice would be the Maserati for the start. The only references I have about his pace are from aforementioned GPLRacer events (his best lap in event vs best overall lap in event:
Monza10k: 2:47.698 (best lap 2:44.516)
Diamante: 1:45.222 (best lap 1:43.634)
The reason I'm mentioning these lap times is because I'm wondering whether you think the Maserati suits him well or if he could use a better car.

Hola Red, bienvenido

Hello Red, welcome
No problem if you sign up ... whether or not you participate in official race depends on the real experience you have to be on track.
If you have experience and pace to be on track, which implies that you are able to ride with a minimum pace and consistency on the one hand, and on the other hand to know how to make different lines or know how to be lapped, no problem, but if not I think you should take the opportunity we have to participate with others on track in the practice sessions FP1 - FP4 held on Monday (1 to 3) and Tuesday (4) to get experience and we will tell you when you are ready to compete.
The speed difference between drivers with better performance and those who are not, such as myself, is huge, which makes it easy for an inexperienced driver to cause unwanted situations.
Our main goal is to enjoy the track, and no one enjoys knowing that they have ruined someone else's race.
Our championship does not have a penalty system, basically because we don't believe in it.
They don't serve to motivate, they don't make you go faster, they don't make you nicer, they don't even relieve you when you ruin someone's race.
That's why we use performance compensation in the choice of car and we think that friendship debts are paid with a beer, although considering the distances we are at the beers are simply written down for when it can be..
In short, if you have real experience on track no problem, if not, participate for the moment in the free practice sessions and we will push you to the official event.
In both cases welcome
Highly recommended reading in case you haven't already done so

Bonjour Red, bienvenue

Done to the fact that we have non-Spanish readers, and thanks to the efforts of Xug
You are welcome …
Maybe you don't need this information, but I like to tell you that over time we have been adapting our website to non-Spanish speakers.
There is no English version as such, but we have adapted different sections to facilitate navigation:
- In the left side menu by holding the mouse over each option appears in the alternative text the double version Spanish - English.
- The Rules page is published in Spanish and English.
Please note that in Spanish:
- The date format is DD/MM/YYYY day/month/year.
- The time format is such that when it expresses 7.00 it means 7.00 a.m. and if it expresses 22.00 it means 10 p.m.
- The time of our geographical location is GMT+1 (from March 28 to October 31 GMT+2).
In the forum
- We give the participants an account in the forum so that they can share information and so that they can choose the language they want to use.
- The main forum options have double header (English / Spanish).
- Every official race has a bilingual Spanish-English announcement thread in the subforum viewforum.php?f=2
- When we post we try to post in a bilingual manner
all this with the aim that the information flows and that the language is not a barrier to share good times on the track.
Finally, the "Informes" option on the left side menu takes you to the reports and replay generated after each official event.
Cheers
Jose Luis

Incredible free rounds on Monday. In the second, Xug, who was also there, did not come out. I could only take the photos.
And people are still coming!
