Yo muy contento con mis tiempos en solitario (2:13.5) , pero luego en carrera no hay manera de sacar y/o aprovechar ese ritmo así que guerra de rebufos será.

Personally I'm very happy with my non-slipstream PB (2:13.5) , but that will be worth nothing later in the race, where I expect a war of slipstreams.

un fracaso más para mi , ni una vuelta!, en una carrera que resultó entretenidísima. casi nunca consigo ir bien cuando hay que ir en grupo . os odio. a veces. gracias, Mezcua, que a ti te pasara algo parecido es un pequeño consuelo

me doy cuen ahora de que Gaizka era campeón antes de esta incluso. que campeonato estás haciendo, pecador, enhorabuena!

one more failure for me, i didn't finish even the first lap!, in a race that was very entertaining. I hardly ever manage to go well when we go in a group. I hate you. sometimes. Thanks, Mezcua: it's a small consolation that something similar happened to you.

I think that I managed to throw away my chances at least three times in this race.

Initially, when fighting with Sergio for the lead, I ran out of brakes at the Sachs Curve. That allowed almost the whole field to pass me!

I had set my gear ratios for slip streaming and suddenly I had nobody to follow. Then I managed to hook onto the back of the Doni and Will battle and passed both of them in one move in the stadium section.

I was gradually clawing back the gap to the main pack when again I ran onto the grass at Sachs. That let Doni and Will back past again!

At least I could set about them individually this time. I passed Will but I think that I had towed Doni up to the back of the pack and so he was now fighting in the leading group.

I think that Keni fell out of the lead group and my Maserati with its long legs was able to pass him. Then yet again I was back on the grass and Keni was back in front of me. So I had to repeat the pass on him.

I'm not sure at which point Sergio dropped back from the lead group but that left me following Doni and Gaizka. My gear ratios were not ideal for running in clear air but thanks to the fact that they were slowing each other down I was able to close in on them. I was hoping that they may hit each other and give me a chance but they kept it clean and I had to settle for third place, setting my fastest lap on the last lap when I just started to pick up the tow.

I could have done with another lap.

Brilliant win by Gaizka in the Connaught and a great drive by Doni for second. Gaizka really had to work for this one.

See you at Charterhall. Hmmm.... That might involve some slip streaming battles as well!



Creo que logré desperdiciar mis oportunidades al menos tres veces en esta carrera.

Inicialmente, cuando luchaba con Sergio por el liderato, me quedé sin frenos en la curva de Sachs. ¡Eso permitió que casi todo el campo me pasara!

Había configurado mis relaciones de transmisión para la transmisión de deslizamientos y de repente no tenía a nadie a quien seguir. Luego me las arreglé para engancharme en la parte posterior de la batalla de Doni y Will y pasé a ambos en un solo movimiento en la sección del estadio.

Poco a poco estaba recortando la brecha con el grupo principal cuando de nuevo corrí hacia la hierba en Sachs. ¡Eso permitió que Doni y Will volvieran a pasar!

Al menos esta vez podría abordarlos individualmente. Pasé a Will, pero creo que había remolcado a Doni hasta la parte de atrás de la manada y ahora estaba luchando en el grupo de cabeza.

Creo que Keni se cayó del grupo de cabeza y mi Maserati con sus largas piernas pudo pasarlo. Entonces, una vez más, estaba de vuelta en el césped y Keni estaba de nuevo frente a mí. Así que tuve que repetirle el pase.

No estoy seguro de en qué momento Sergio se retiró del grupo de cabeza, pero eso me dejó siguiendo a Doni y Gaizka. Mis relaciones de transmisión no eran ideales para correr al aire libre, pero gracias al hecho de que se estaban frenando entre sí, pude acercarme a ellas. Tenía la esperanza de que se golpearan entre sí y me dieran una oportunidad, pero lo mantuvieron limpio y tuve que conformarme con el tercer lugar, estableciendo mi vuelta más rápida en la última vuelta cuando comencé a recoger el remolque.

Podría haberlo hecho con otra vuelta.

Brillante victoria de Gaizka en el Connaught y gran avance de Doni por el segundo puesto. Gaizka realmente tuvo que trabajar para este.

Nos vemos en Charterhall. Hmmm ... ¡Eso también podría involucrar algunas batallas de transmisión por deslizamiento!
