Cuando cargué el circuito (el otro) no me gustó un pelo. Pero ayer correr aquí fue divertido, aunque entrenar fue un rollazo. Como tuve poco tiempo para pruebas, acabé corriendo con un setup hecho a puñetazos. Para que os hagais una idea, antes de la carrera cambié los amortiguadores traseros, de 2-3, a 3-4. No se si el setup era bueno o malo, pero tienes que usarlo un poco para conocerlo, y me planté en la carrera sin haber rodado con el.


En la salida me vi encajonado y no supe resolverlo, así que antes de T3 ya había pisado hierba y me había ido fuera. En seguida vi que podía aún volver al grupo, pero rodando con Sergio que también se había quedado atrás, me comí T2 y tuve mi primer “mechanical report”. Seguí teniendo errores varios, pero a partir de la vuelta 25 conseguí una docena de vueltas en 1:07 excepto un 9. Curioso porque entonces ya llevaba las dos ruedas de la derecha tocadas.

A pesar de ir solo en la cola, intenté seguir concentrado en la carrera y creo que la terminé mejor de lo que la empecé. Hice mi vuelta rápida en la última vuelta y casi le piso la vuelta rápida “de los terrícolas” a Sergio (por 4 centésimas).

When I loaded the track (the other one) I didn't like it. But yesterday running here was fun, although training was a pain. Since I had little time for testing, I ended up running with a fist made setup. To give you an idea, before the race I changed the rear shocks from 2-3 to 3-4. I don't know if the setup was good or bad, but you have to use it a little to know it, and I raced without having ridden with it before.


At the start I was boxed in and I didn't know how to solve it, so before T3 I had already stepped on grass and gone outside. Right away I saw that I could still go back to the group, but riding with Sergio who was also left behind, I ate T2 and had my first “mechanical report”. I continued to have several errors, but from lap 25 I managed a dozen laps in 1:07 (except a 9). Funny because then I already had both right wheels touched.

Despite going alone in the queue, I tried to stay focused on the race and I think I finished it better than I started. I did my fastest lap on the last lap and I almost stepped on Sergio's fast lap “of the earthlings” (by 4 hundredths).

Wow what a fight night!!!!!

The 312 killed me on the straight. I was a bit faster in the first sector but no chance to pass. What fun. Fantastic job Jose. Super clean all the way until the end. Thought I had a chance on the last lap, last turn. WELL DONE. This is why I love GPL. Close clean racing is what it's all about. So sorry for Jani's misfortune. He would have certainly been in the mix. Sergio was smokin fast too.

El 312 me mató en línea recta. Fui un poco más rápido en el primer sector, pero no tuve oportunidad de pasar. Qué divertido. Fantástico trabajo José. Super limpio todo el camino hasta el final. Pensé que tenía una oportunidad en la última vuelta, en la última curva. BIEN HECHO. Por eso amo la GPL. Las carreras limpias y cerradas es de lo que se trata. Siento mucho la desgracia de Jani. Ciertamente habría estado en la mezcla.
