Buen ambiente en pista en Oulton
Good racing atmosphere on track at Oulton
Grats to Doni Paul and Tago not very happy due to the silly incident at the start
Thx all for racing

Yes, I got a great start - probably too good as I surprised you down the outside! I don't think I moved over at all but maybe I did???? Anyway that's racing - at least it was a non-championship event .
Of course you should continue in such circumstances.
Too late on the offer of a beer as I have already had one (and that's my limit!).
See you all next week.

A lucky win, to be sure, but I'll still score this one a full 5/5. Only one '64' lap when, in the slipstream of Paul's 12-cylinder Ferrari, I got such a tow that I went off the road briefly in Knickerbrook. I didn't slow down fast enough. Is that proper English? A curious blend of words. Dunno...
Paul was clearly the faster but a couple of brief off-track excursions set him back and there weren't enough laps for him to recover and challenge for the lead. As well, the T1, Lap01 shunt between David and Tago was instrumental in my scoring the win. Poor David was eliminated on the spot and Tago lost buckets of time. I had Xuggy closely following me for the first two laps but he slipped off the road in the Cascades on Lap03 to fall back. I certainly got the impression that Paul was just toying with me his big Ferrari having a considerable top end advantage over my Dino but those two small lapses punished him. Not that I had a perfect run. A couple of passes through the Cascades and Druids were less the optimal. Very fortunate not have dropped it in Druids at one point, in fact. Lucky boy.

Those who do not learn from history will be condemned to relive its mistakes.

The practice with Paul the previous Sunday was not only fun but also promising so I qualified well
I finally saw the replay and my start is to give me a whipping
David had a spectacular start while I thought that mine wasn't too bad
I was going straight in the direction of Paul in front of us and I thought I could improve my entry to T1 adjusting a little bit to the left and in that adjustment is where David is to receive my hit
David's braby gets out of control and hits me and we go into the fences.... David loses a wheel...
Then the race is to try to get closer to those in front but the rhythms are similar and also in the last laps I had a couple of laps off
To compensate David is impossible but if I had right now about 3-4 million $ I could buy him a real 1966 eagle
I'm passing on the advert so that if any of you are in good financial shape you don't miss the opportunity
