Vaya por delante que si no llevara el Matra MS84 no podría ni ver los tubos de escape de Paul
Había cogido confianza al trazado y podía mantener un buen ritmo
Esperaba una carrera con rebufos, porque la gran recta después de T1 se presta pero al ser tan pocos no se dio esa condicion
Yo traccioné bien en la salida y me pude ir ... sacando unos segundos de ventaja
Luego me sorprendió que Paul tardara en alcanzarme reduciendo esa ventaja a nada
Pero lo hizo y quedaba mucha carrera
Paul empezó sus andanzas para superarme pero vi que no era fácil ... tenía que mantener el tipo ... había que frenar bien en T1 para evitar el rebufo y luego mantener una vuelta decente
La cosa iba bien hasta que en la 21 frené demasiado asegurón entrando en el ángulo de Snyder y Paul me toco por detrás ... yo creo que más culpa mía que suya
Pudimos continuar y en seguida observé que o bien me dejaba más aire del habitual o bien su coche estaba tocado
Pude mantener la posición y llevarme la victoria porque en efecto su coche no estaba al 100%

I was able to keep the position and take the victory because in fact his car was not at 100%.
