Curitiba is a tough track! I had only ran some laps the night before so I set out to practice in the quali session as much as I could. I ran a non-stop session and I think I got the track figured out at the end of quali. Paul was still faster though, but in the hairpin at lap 1 he made a mistake which allowed me to get in front. After a couple of laps he caught me, but I was able to follow him until I ran wide and got sucked into the dirt on the start / finish straight. Paul waited for me the next lap but then had some mistakes of his own so it took him much of the race to catch up with me again. We then ran a couple of laps side-by-side
. In the end Paul went off again at the hairpin so I was able to snatch the victory ----
