Un poco antes de la FP4 sólo quería echar una siesta, pero eso se convirtió en 2 horas de sueño. Cuando me levanté, mi reloj marcaba las 22:25, así que rápidamente encendí todo y me puse en marcha.
Mi marca personal es de 28,9, pero desde que entré en la cabina supe que hoy no la iba a igualar. Aun así, después de 10 minutos conseguí un 29,1 que tampoco estaba tan mal.
Al salir de la línea de meta he cogido a Robert y he sentido que tenía el ritmo suficiente para mantenerlo fuera del rebufo. Pero pronto mi falta de ritmo se hizo evidente. Cometí un error en el Lesmos que permitió a Robert pasar, y a la salida de la Parabólica, me tocó el muro amarillo de la izquierda... Dos errores que casi nunca cometí en los entrenamientos.
Otro error en Parabolica me hizo salirme y Xug me pasó con el remolque, y la inmensa velocidad en línea recta de Eagle no me permitió volver a pasar rápidamente. Al final lo he conseguido, pero otro error en la Parabólica ha permitido a Xug pasarme de nuevo en la recta principal. Esta vez se fue por el interior y se puso por delante antes de la curva, pero su trazada comprometía el resto de la curva para él, así que intenté ir por la trazada de la curva. Pero justo a la salida de la curva, Xug sobrepasó el límite de agarre y perdió la parte trasera, su coche salió disparado hacia la derecha y me recogió en el proceso. Terminé boca abajo, y así pasé el resto de la carrera observando a los demás a bordo mientras la pizza se calentaba en el horno.
Seguramente habría tenido mejor sabor si no hubiera cometido ningún error evitable...
Enhorabuena a Robert por su nueva victoria, y a Tago y Sergio por los demás puestos del podio. También a Quico por su cuarto puesto, y es bueno ver a un piloto "nuevo" en este campeonato. Una pena lo de la colisión Xug, no es tu culpa... Keni, por desgracia, fue recogido y se retiró poco después en los boxes, ¿tuviste daños en el motor?
Gracias por organizar este campeonato, ha sido un placer participar. La próxima temporada será muy interesante con Gaizka en la mezcla, y quizás/esperemos que algunas caras nuevas más...
Es hora de deshacerse de este BRM...

A bit before FP4 I just wanted to take a nap, but that turned into 2 hours of sleeping. When I got back up, my clock showed 22:25, so I quickly turned everything on and got going.
My PB is a 28.9, but I knew right from when I entered the cockpit that I wouldn't match that today. Still, after 10 minutes I got a 29.1 which wasn't that bad either.
Off the line I got Robert and felt that I had just enough pace to keep him out of the slipstream. But soon my lack of rhythm became evident. I made a mistake in the Lesmos which allowed Robert through, and at the exit of Parabolica I clipped the yellow wall on the left... Two mistakes I almost never did in practice.
Another slipup in Parabolica made me go wide and so Xug got past with the tow, and the immense Eagle straight line speed didn't allow me back through quickly. Eventually I got past, but another mistake at Parabolica allowed Xug another tow to draft past me again on the main straight. This time he went down the inside and was ahead before the corner, however his line compromised the rest of the corner for him and so I tried to go for the switchback line. But just at the corner exit, Xug exceeded the limit of grip and lost the rear, his car shot to the right and collected me in the process. I ended up upside down, and so I spent the rest of the race watching the others onboard while the pizza was warming up in the oven.
Would surely have tasted better had I been able to make no avoidable errors...
Congrats Robert on yet another runaway victory, and Tago and Sergio for the remaining podium spots! Also well done Quico in P4, and good to see a "new" driver in this championship! Shame about the collision Xug, not your fault... Keni unfortunately got collected and retired soon after in the pits, did you have engine damage?
Thanks for organizing this championship, it was a pleasure to participate! Next season will be very interesting with Gaizka in the mix, and maybe/hopefully some more new faces...

Esta mañana he tenido que ir a la farmacia a ver si me recetaban algo para la resaca de la juerga de ayer 
... los números que se hacen por aqui son inmejorables 
... yo hubiera preferido quedar 5º y lo hubiera celebrado igual de bien 
llegando empatados a la ultima carrera ... y esta vez me salió bien
