I have a conflict with a UKGPL F2 race in the same time slot today, fellas. Going to have to beg off from our Zandvoort meeting.

I see by the posted schedules that there are a few more conflicts to come but later in the PDLR season, I'm free for most every race.

After a long day it was an unexpectedly hard race for me. It might have been easier to keep focus if I had company, but it was a lonely race. I made a few mistakes, but luckily no damages were taken.

Los entrenamientos clasificatorios fueron bien, con un ligero PB de BRM, y cerca de la pole de Oscar.

Mi salida fue de nuevo mejor, pero Oscar mantuvo el interior en Tarzán. Su primera vuelta fue muy rápida, intenté aguantar, pero después de algunas vueltas empecé a tener problemas con el equilibrio y el agarre de la parte trasera izquierda.

Oscar ha vuelto a ser demasiado rápido, pero yo estaba bastante contento con mi ritmo y mi carrera. Siendo realistas, siempre habría terminado dentro de los 10s, sin el error de Oscar y la pérdida de tiempo. Me he arriesgado con el combustible y he perdido la presión del mismo en la última vuelta, casi perdiendo 2s.

Tuve algunas vueltas malas, y luché un poco con el equilibrio a veces, pero de nuevo nunca conduje este circuito con el BRM en Zandvoort. Por lo tanto, tengo que estar contento con mi rendimiento

Enhorabuena a Oscar por la victoria, y bien hecho Jani por el podio. Buen trabajo de los finalistas, y mala suerte de los DNF. Gracias a todos por correr y gracias por el espacio al rodar.

Qualifying practise went well with a slight BRM PB, and close to Oscar's pole.

It was hard to stay focused at Zandvoort, a circuit where mistakes pay off.
Luckily I opened a little gap to Robert and was able to keep calm... although a nice 360 spin surprised me, but no consecuences.

In Reims it will be a different story, so far I have been able to control Robert who suffers with the BRM tires... now it will be my turn to suffer with the speed of the Cooper on the straights.

Desde la última carrera con los 66, no había tocado el volante.
Antes de la carrera, solo una docena de vueltas con el Honda y media docena con el Brabham, descaradamente más manejable. El setup del Braby, del año que lo llevé, 2012. El setup, uno de los primeros de aquel año. El diferencial 85/45/1 cuando ese año acabé usando 45/60/1 cuando ya le había cogido un poco el rollo.
No me importó, quería correr y terminé contento de haberlo hecho. En las próximas fechas, no van a mejorar mis prestaciones ya que sigo sin poder entrenar prácticamente nada. Pero espero correr siempre que tenga un volante a mano!.
