A mi me apetece concretar cuanto antes el calendario del 55, dando por entendido que en el plan del año podemos iniciar con una idea similar al anterior de 10 carreras del 55

Para este año propongo que la carrera oficial sea con 30 minutos de Q y luego la carrera según esa Q, vamos a lo tradicional

... the Sebring circuit layout was the same in 1959 and 1964.  Actually, it did not change between the years 1952 and 1966.  :)
 The 1964 Sebring track for GPL, made by ginetto, has a more accurate layout than the earlier 1959 track by smogbike (Martin Pitts).

Torino 55 (Parco del Valentino Torino v3 1955 Circuito del Valentino #8 )

A typical italian street circuit from the 50's.
3rd version made after the release of 55 MOD.
With this "best and final" v.3, the chicane and the Start/Finish line have been changed according to latest infos.
The whole track had a major revamp with most of the objects rebuilt from scratch and textures made in higher resolution.
Itis now pretty close to its real conditions as they were back in 1955.
Definitely the version to use ;-)

This 2021 season I would like to join the F1 1955 championship (if you finally go for it)

I started to play this mod in mid-August and have been enjoying it since then. After Nieva's thrilling experience with you all earlier this year and Blood being at his best, I feel this is a great opportunity for me to truly enjoy this mod online

Last but not least, I am delighted to share a spot on the grid with my father

I hope my come back is successful enough for Quico's New Year wish to fall short

The calendar for '55... we can start with a similar idea to the previous one of 10 races in '55

As I only plan to join the F1 1955 championship, 10 GPs sound great to me

Keep the Q1-Q4 sessions with points for the 3 best

Not to confuse the personnel, I would rename these sessions as P1-P4.
Personally, I enjoyed them during the F1 1967 championship, as they were my only chance to play online with 3 to 6 drivers. Priceless in these times that all VROC/iGOR races are empty if not league related.
Regarding the points, I would rather prefer not to assign them to the resultant top 3 of these sessions due to high risk of benefiting the usual suspects (= top drivers in the championship). I guess the aim is to promote participation among all drivers. If so, I am hopeful that the so far positive experience with these sessions will persuade people to include them into their regular training / preparation work towards the race

Tracks - Selection criteria

Having in mind that I will aim for one of the slower cars, it would be much appreciated if the final set of tracks is balanced when it comes to pure speed vs twisty circuits

Gran noticia la vuelta de Gaizka a su propia casa. Tendremos más humo de escapes en nuestras gafas en las salidas.

Tengo una espinita (muy pequeña) clavada del año pasado, y es que si corremos con los 66es, sean 9 carreras, 3 por categoría. Como es claramente una pijotada, pues haced lo que os parezca. Es que es un mod que me encanta...

Los circuitos hay que buscar un equilibrio entre nuevos, clásicos y favoritos. Y es un problema porque afortunadamente, hay un montón para elegir.

Doy por hecho que repetimos mods, así que iré afilando el material.

Por mi parte 55 y 67 son los que me encantan ... si a ti Quico te mola el 66 pues a mi también ... las 9 pruebas parecen fáciles de alcanzar solo añadiendo un evento el 13 ó 20 de Julio ... monta una buena lista de ciurcuitos / motorizaciones para ese calendario de 9
55 and 67 are the ones I love ... Quico, if you like 66 I do too ... the 9 events seem easy to achieve just by adding an event on July 13 or 20 ... make a good list of circuits/motors for that 9 events calendar


Yo por mi parte estoy explorando alguna otra opción de circuitos para el 55 que no sean solo superrectas ... siguiendo la sugerencia de Gaiz ... y en ese supuesto caen del plan (quedando para futuro) Avus y Sebring, entrando en liza Oulton, Crystal, Snetertton ... ando en ello y esta tarde confirmo cuales me satisfacen más

Ahora mismo me pondré a actualizar la zona de actualización/instalación de pistas en boxes, con la idea de que los 10 circuitos se puedan instalar facilmente desde ahi, a no ser que tengas tiempo para disfrutar tus paseos por SRMZ y bla bla bla Right now I'm going to update the update/installation zone of tracks in boxes, with the idea that the 10 circuits can be installed easily from there, unless you have time to enjoy your walks through SRMZ and bla bla bla
