So sorry to have missed the finale at Mexico but I can report now that my computer has come back from the repair shop and seems fit & ready for GPL action in 2025.

Sorry to inform but I'll be MIA for this final round. The computer went 'tits up' last Tuesday and it will be some time before I have it fit to run GPL again. Hope to see you all again soon! Have a great race in Mexico!

A lucky win, to be sure, but I'll still score this one a full 5/5. Only one '64' lap when, in the slipstream of Paul's 12-cylinder Ferrari, I got such a tow that I went off the road briefly in Knickerbrook. I didn't slow down fast enough. Is that proper English? Hi, Tago. A 9pm CST time translates to 4pm my local time here in Oshawa. CEST would push it to 5pm but of course, we adopt time changes here that pretty much neutralizes the difference.

I would support a move to Thursday events. Quite frankly, I've been disappointed that we didn't pull more drivers to the Monday races.

The Lotus 43 is my intended ride for the Glen. Can't be a bad choice. It won!

In my post, I neglected to mention how Xuggy was well and truly in the mix up til his unfortunate trip into the sand pit on Lap06. Fighting back, his efforts came to nought with a blown engine. Bad luck there, Xug.

Hello, Clive... I can't say for sure but I would seriously doubt that the original Papy version and the new '67' model are identical in the track layout. One would also need to compare the track length as displayed in GPLRA and for it to be metre-to-metre exact is a bit of a stretch.
