Yes, that is what I just did to try it out: delete my gplcXX.exes, patch the original GPL.exe and then open GEM and let it rebuild the mods exe again with that patch applied, and it worked like charm. I've just now entered the server (thanks, Mezcua!) without any problem.

I have decided to qite whilst I still have a working GPL.

My first attempt ended up with Prib not working and no ability to change gear!

So I scuttled back to my backup .exe as fast as I could go!
