Yet again my fps during the race was far from perfect. In lap 1 it was 10-15 sometimes.. Turn 1 was a nightmare..

But even before the race I had to change the asphalt textures for a more useable concrete. That was much easier to my eyes.

Anyway, Porto was never my favourite, and with this mod it's even lower on my list..

Back to the race. Thanks to my extra cautious approach I was as high as 5th, then I dropped to 6th, then spun in T1 and... called it a day.

Grats to the winner. Thanks all. Next time.

Definatelty I should've practised more with the Gordini... I couldn't manage to make a single lap on Q4 until the last one, and my race pace was simply absent. On Lap 2, braking into T2, I braked a little later than Aitor, and I steered to the right trying to avoid the crash... That put me last, and from there till the end I did another 2 or 3 big mistakes, but at least I could finish the race. On the last lap I let Clive pass me so he had the points he desevere, trying not to interfere on the Championship standings.

Congrats to the podium, specially Aitor, who had a pace unachiveilable to me. Many thanks to everyone for the warm welcome :D.

Congratulations to Aitor, Quico and Sergio. Also many thanks to Jorge for the generous points but please just race on in future.

I had no thoughts of a championship after taking the Gordini for the season and I really don't get on too well with it. I have no confidence that it will do what I want it to. In fact I have no confidence that it will do what it did last lap!

I think that the Gordini is a "handicap car" for aliens, so that us humans can still see them at the end of the race!

Felicitaciones a Aitor, Quico y Sergio.

Hice 10 buenas vueltas, y llegué a estar a 2,5 seg.

Well, happy to have saved Sergio's first match-ball.

It is a track that I like, and I am good at it, but with these cars ... In the afternoon I tried to get down from 2:40 and I directly made a handsome 38. I was already a little more animated.

Already in the race, I did a good start well, going from 4th to 3rd position that I held on the straight. When Nieva swallowed T2, I was chasing after Birle, but about 7 seconds behind. I did 10 good laps, and I got to be 2.5 sec. But when Birle saw me approaching, started doing low 40s and I couldn't catch him. In lap 11, in T4, I made a spinning top. I managed not to stay crossed, but to make 360º, but Birle had already left. It was 5 horrible laps, full of errors, but I managed to finish. A 2nd that gives me a little air in the championship because Sergio is not going to give me anything. A chore that Nieva would take away the fast lap point on the penultimate lap!

It is a bit annoying that the "new" do not take cars a little more appetizing to get a little taste for the mod, and especially Nieva has premiered on a particularly sketchy track, there have been great.

Congratulations to those who had fun!

well, so sorry guys, it was so easy. i only practiced on monday. i thought it was not going to be like that. even with nieva on the gordini. quico cut the gap at the begining because i was laping on 41s. i started to lap on 40s on second part of the race to control him. i had some scares but nothing serious.

nex time i will take the gordini, but i don´t know if i cold do it.

Whaat? No race next tuesday? That's not fair! Now that I'm "on fire", hehehe. Anyone want to run (qualy + short race) approx at championship time next tuesday? :D

Possibly Keni but before that, how do you feel about a run at Grenzlandring?
Tago, Doni and I have a race there this Sunday.

It's all lefts and no brakes but I need to do some running with other cars to sort out gearing for slipstreaming and tactics.
