Glad to know that I wasn't the only person with brain fade! :D

For some unknown reason I changed up an extra gear going down Valentine's Way and forgot to change down an extra gear at Canal. It didn't turn in. :(

Stupid boy!

¡Estúpido chico!

LOL, Quico! I thought that I noticed some ominous skid marks in T2 as I started my last lap. Didn't think a whole lot about it but...

What's that phrase? I'd rather be lucky than good anyday. :)

It's the fact that just about anyone can "drop the ball" at any time that makes this mod so interesting. In my opinion, it has far more depth to it than any other mod.

Whilst everyone is still in 55mod mode, you might like to have a go at the Groundhog Hot Lap Challenge, which is currently a 55mod event:-

You just have to upload your player.ini file after you have done some laps and you can revisit it as many times as you like.

Congratulations a Doni y Quico .

i only want to apologize with xug. i practiced some hours and they were not enough. i was not used to the sim. one thing is on this mod only, brakes, and the other is the colision phisics. it was a bad idea to race yesterday.

The pachanga on Monday helped me to give a small but important touch to the setup, a click of more pressure on the rear wheels and a few less on the bar, also back. It runs better if you trust the car hehehe.

I entered the server a little late, which serves as an excuse for not having been able to take the pole from Clive, who did a great 2 02 00. I could not make a 01, so 2º on the grid.

At the start, Birle stuck to me, and he drew T1 better than me, but when he left the corner he could not keep his car inside and gave me a tanguarant that the mechanical report says:

1m10.270s
 Quico - spotters reporting:

but it does not report anything - fortunately - but I remade 20 seconds behind the head, behind Doni and Cayo and in front of Birle. Tago leaves as a result of the scrum of T1. When reach the straight, I overtook Doni's Gordini and beginning lap 2, I overtook Cayo through the interior in T2, which just in case, leaves me the whole place. I get to Trooper and I go one lap behind him until at the beginning of lap 3, he eats T2 and he leaves me 3º.

The only thing I have to do is stay on track, because the difference with the head was very big. But immediately I see myself 2º and the panels of the pribluda are going empty ...

On lap 14 suddenly some yellow flags ... it's Clive, on the "parabolica", although I think he's going to rejoin the track after a field trip, he also disappears from the candidate lists.

So I'm still so happy until, at the start of the last lap I was thinking about giving the audience a greeting because Doni was more than a minute away, I have a forgetfulness in T2, but although this time the report does indicate serious damage, the car behaves and takes me to the finish line. Fortunately the heart also endured the shock that I wore when I woke up in front of T2.
A pity not to have been able to have war with the Connaughts (well, I had it with that of Birle jejejej), but glad to have reached the end.

And congratulations, Doni!

What a race. A funny thing about this mod is that almost everyone ends the races, and this happens to us !!!
Of course, in this there was a lot to work with the brakes and the traced and you were caught in diapers. In circuits like this it is especially useful to do a few laps without touching the brake, I thought it was a bit silly, but it does work.

no corrais que es peor...
