Salgo manteniendo la posición, me libro del pandemonium que se ha liado en T2 pero al llegar a la curva antes del puente (la de la **** bala de paja a la derecha) alguien me da por detrás lo suficiente como para desequilibrarme y mandarme para dicha bala como una ídem, me quedo clavado e instintivamente reinicio... pero empiezo a mosquearme porque no estoy seguro de si he pasado o no el punto en el que se permite. Y entre esta duda que me corroe (he evitado tocarme con alguien y he hecho una masacre entre los caracoles autóctonos) y no haber entrenado nada-de-nada, al final ya sin opciones de coger a Mardor (que ya es decir), me abandono a mi suerte, que, ironías de la vida, aparece en forma del mismo fardo de paja, donde me quedo de nuevo clavado y explota el motor al intentar liberarme (por suerte no ha prendido en la bala de paja y he podido salir ileso)
La sanción es DQ, totalmente merecida por ciruelo. Nos vemos en el Ring C o B.

Manu, lo siento Yo sí estaba en el chat, lo que ocurre es que estaba tan pegada a la pantalla de la tele y tan en tensión que no me di cuenta a tiempo: cuando vi que te habías conectado, justo te fuiste y no me dio tiempo ni a saludarte... Perdón.

Además, es que como durante la Qualy iban entrando y saliendo escopeteados (significa con mucha prisa y sin perder segundos ), pues ya no me fijaba en esas entradas y salidas al chat, sólo en si los veía en pista y no habían tenido problemas.

¿Sabes qué pasa? Pues que el otro día, el domingo, en la WC entró de pronto Tito Ogle, me dio un susto y me dijo: "Te he pillado hablando sola..." (Con lo a gusto que yo estaba con mis pensamientos... ), así que ayer me quedé calladita por si acaso.

Ha sido una B demasiado aburrida...

¿Aburrida dices? Con lo emocionantes que son las B, que te van saliendo coches de todas partes y no paran de cambiar las posiciones en cada vuelta.

Pues yo me divertí 24 de las 24 vueltas que corrimos.

En la class me conformé enseguida con un 1.33.5 y una 3ª plaza en parrilla. Pues lo de llegar a 32s tan bajos lo veía un sueño, además era imposible encontrar la pista despejada durante toda la class.
Asi que salí desde el 3er puesto y en la horquilla me puse 2º, porqué le aguanté el paralelo a Regor hasta que se fué largo en T2.
Seguí en L1 persiguiendo a Shumi que salió como una bala, mientras nos distanciábamos de los de detrás. Pero al llegar a la ultima curva me fuí de largo, con las ruedas frias y el depósito lleno. Asi que anduve campo a través hasta poder reincorporarme a pista.
Al regresar a pista me encontré 7º detrás de Mezcua. No estaba mal pensando que con un 6º ya entraba y aun quedaban 23 vueltas.
Entonces fué cuando me di cuenta que los gamberros de los mecanicos del CCTT me habian puesto pegatinas del Braby-RR en los retrovisores (no sé si para recordarme la última A o porqué son asi de Ca***_nes)
Andube toda la carrera intentando despegarlas, pero teniamos mucho transito por delante que nos iba frenando. Poco a poco y pasito a pasito fuimos adelantando posiciones.

Pero Regor detrás en P7 no iba a conformarse.
Pasamos a Mezcua, después a Xug, después a los Ferris-REC (Alex y Kol).
A mi me tocaba el trabajo sucio. Ir metiendo el morro y presionando hasta que abría un hueco. Luego Regor que llevaba un gancho cogido a mi Braby, se metía también por el mismo agujero.
Asi llegamos hasta P2 y P3, con Shumi-P1 a 25s o 30s.
Pensé que aki se iba a estabilizar la cosa y a conservar hasta el final, que es lo que yo intentaba, pero no. Mientras yo intentaba ser conservador, Regor se dedicaba a presionar a por el P2.
En la penultima vuelta se me puso en paralelo en la recta larga de atrás, yo cerré el interior y aguanté casi trazando por la hierva, pero al salir de la curva se habia colado por delante.
Grrrrrr
En la siguiente y ultima vuelta nos habiamos cambiado las pegatinas. Asi que al llegar a la misma curva le devolví la jugada. Pero en mi exterior la cosa no fué igual. Me dió un coletazo (creemos que un LAG) que salí disparado contra los setos.
Por suerte no me quedé en sanganchao y pude recobrar el norte.
Volví a pista y crucé la meta a 10s de Regor. Con el hueco que habiamos abierto las ultimas 9 vueltas, aun pude entrar en P3 sin ningún problema.
Menuda fiera me tocó aguatar ayer.

Mi cronica:

Before Qualy: Por motivos laborales y demás, es un circuito que no he podido entrenar demasiado, pero la verdad es que me ha parecido bellisimo. Unido a mis propias limitaciones y a las de mi Pc, la verad es que los días anteriores a la carrera presagiaba un verdadero desastre. No basta con ser novatillo y no haber entrenado sino que además, resulta que en esta pista los frames de mi pantalla oscilaban entre los 21 y los 26 aprox. yendo solo!!!!. No habia duda: en las pachangas todo el mundo iba 2-3 segundos más rápido y eso, en carrera suponía que me acabaría convirtiendo en una chicane móvil.

Dias antes empecé a probar el cambio en H, por recomendación de mi compañero Josele en el G25, y me sorprendió que parecía ir más rápido. sin embargo, eran frecuentes los errores al engranar 2ª por 4ª o incluso algún BUM BUM al poner R en vez de 5 , pero Bum Bum de verdad

In Qualy: El setup era bueno: sólo habia uno y viendo que era imposible conducir con tan pocas frames, decido darle al F10 y... Voilà!!!: oscilaba de 31 a 35 incluso con tráfico. No es coña, durante la qualy, me dediqué a rebajar la calidad de los gráficos y a rodar desde afuera. Sorprendido por los tiempos que me salían, me decidí a asaltar la parrilla de salida con alguna pretensión, así que puse el setup "midrace" de 14 laps y conseguí, creo que un 35 alto, que es record personal absoluto en Brands Hatch. Total: 10º, vamos un exitazo.

On Race: Con mucha prudencia e intentando mantenerme fuera de las zonas "calientes" salgo relativamente bien y supero T1 sin incidencias. Prefiero mantener de forma muy clara mi posición en el pelotón y saliendo de T1 ya me alineo tras Xavi con intención de sacarle segundos a Wiso que aparece detrás mio en el pribluda, aunque a cierta distancia. Para mi sorpresa (y la de Xavi) el amigo Glamour se olvidó de la existencia de T2 (o bien venía de la bolera) porque, analizando la repe su ferrari no frena ni puede frenar en T2 y le pega por detrás al Xavi (invisible?) tras superarme a mi por la derecha (lo ves Xavi?, no fuí yo, ya te dije que no tenía conciencia de haberle dado a nadie). De hecho el incidente afecta incluso a los de delante, (vamos que hizo un Strike...) y yo me libro con una pequeña excursión a lo verde que creo que no me perjudicó el coche.

Tras ello empezamos a coger ritmo y me sorprendo viendo que Regor no se aleja muy rápido por delante.

El ratito que sigue fue una interesante persecución de tres Lotus, el de Quico, Xavi y yo mismo, vueltas en las que íbamos con ritmos muy similares y mejorando poco a poco (conseguí mi mejor vuelta en Lap 8, 1:35 altos). La existencia de un piño con, creo que Lesmes y un ferrari por ahí retozando, me hizo perder concentración y mis inmediatos perseguidores volvieron a pasarme. Creo que había llegado a ir 8º y a una distancia relativamente pequeña de estar clasificado, pero se fueron a la porra mis aspiraciones tras este incidente y otras dos coladas mías (ahí ya solito, por falta de concentración) que me sirvieron para terminar en un 10 puesto, que podía haber sido mejor.

Pero podía haber sido peor y conseguí mi objetivo inicial: terminar y, pese a conducir desde fuera, no joderle la carrera a nadie. A si que satisfecho y agradecido a todos los pilotillos por tan buenos ratos juntos.

Sigo aprendiendo.

Corriendo del trabajo a casa para la carrera. Creo que fui mas rapido en el mundo real que en Brands Hatch.

Me clasifique el ultimo para variar, no me atrevi a ponerle poca gasolina ya que no sabia si la carrera es puntual del todo y que me quedamba poco tiempo.

Ya en carrera tuve que evitar el tapon del accidente de salida, como siempre. Luego, cuando no me sali, en el ritmo que me propuse, alrededor de 1:42 o 1:43. Adelante unos cuantos "chocaos" y me deje pasar facilemente en las azules. Al echarme para el lado para dejar pasar al grupo de cabeza me dieron por detras. Un "rapido" quiso aprovecharse de que el que iba delante, frenó por mi lenta presencia y al intentar adelantar me dio por detras depues de yo frenar y echarme a la derecha ( fuera de trazada).

EN fin, segunda vez que me pasa. La proxima vez creo que es mejor ir un pelin mas lento y no echarme al ladito, ya se encargara el personal de pasarme.
