To stop you getting too bored during this hot summer we have another fun event for you.
Isle Of Man Hot Lap Challenge
How it works :-
We use the 1965 mod cars - free chassis choice.
Pro Damage - NO RESET
20.30 CET ( 19.30 UK ) on Tuesday 16th August.
Starting at our normal race time, the server will run a qualification session for two hours. ( THERE WILL BE NO RACE )
After joining the server, all drivers should use in game chat window where they will be instructed when to pit out and proceed with their turn.
The order of your turn to pit out will be in order of joining the server.
When your name is called, driver will set off at 1 minute intervals for one flying lap before stopping at a safe location and returning to chat.
During the two hour session there should be time for more than one run if you want to stick around for the two hours.
You are free to leave and rejoin the server during the two hour event.
All laps will be recorded during the two hour event. The winner being the fastest lap.
NOTE - This is not a race, so if someone catches you they are already 1 minute in front of you, so do not hold them up or try to race them. Let them by at the earliest safe place.
NOTE - To allow for one flying lap the pit boxes will be moved to a suitable position before the start/finish.
NOTE - While on your hot lap it would be advisable to turn off "in car" chat as discussion and comments will be allowed by those watching others while waiting their turn.
