In what pit did you hide?? I was all aloneClive Loynes escribió:Eeek! Pelle doing pre-qual in a Brabham.
HushHush, had to test how fast Dag would be ... next test, Ferrari
...but calm, I stay in my Torro Grosso
When I have now been discovered in my secret test, yes...I set new times in both Brabham & Honda, good for my Monster Rank

I don't think that the Ferrari is going to bother you. Prib says that if all my best bits are strung together I should have a 28.8 in me but you know that that isn't going to happen!Pelle_B escribió:

Unless I can get a tow behind a big fat Torro Grosso!
YEAH, Great practice the day before the race, we really had fun
SRY if I drove a little closer than I used to, but I've had a lot of trouble with my connection after I got 1GB, today they found another mistake & now the fourth Router (brand new model) so I tested a little more than usual.
Got a little better time in my Grosso, but no time to test Ferrari
Jack Brabham had a rope on a Grosso here ? - the finish line in 1967

My Torro Grosso is so heavy, I may not discover you have a rope behind meClive Loynes escribió:

Grats Pelle , Clive and Tago.
Sorry for the contact Sergio , most unfortunate. I tried to back off but just clipped your left rear. Wasnt my intention.
Other than that it was a messy race for my part , had a decent run on Clive but got caught out when braking into parabolica and had to go off to avoid taking him off and from there everything was a struggle.

Congratulations to Pelle, who took just about everything on offer at this one.
That is, pole, fastest lap and most consistent.
Grats to David on getting the best improvement on starting position. And that was at four laps down!
It was obvious from the start that I couldn't match Pelle and then to make matters worse I had a little wobble at Curva Grande. That brought Dag onto my gearbox but he tripped over me going in to Parabolica and probably took a trip to the sand. I saw him coming and did my best to get out of the way but after that I was just intent on keeping tagomago at a safe distance.
The gap to Pelle grew steadily bigger, as did the gap to tagamago but not as fast. Pressure all the way but I was happy to have kept the nose of the red beast aimed in the right direction.
See you in Mexico.

…& a 'little' Thank You, you held Dag behind you & I came a little closer in points
Practice:
My qual setup was really good & fast (got improved my Monster Rank 2 times), but in practice before the race...I got a shock, my race setup was useless. Spun around countless times
Qual:
Fighting with my race setup & hope I had changed to something better, but impossible to believe in Pole with 21 laps in the tank
6 minutes before qual is finished, on with my qual setup...& it succeeded
The qual was stressed, strees & strees...& afterwards, it looks so easy
Race:
A noisy Ferrari on my side & my fat Torro Grosso...curiously already thinking of Curva Grande, but luckily Clive slide a little & I can take the inside line. Clive was in front for a moment
The rest of the race, pressure, pressure & pressure, incredibly Honda engine does not explode. Engine temp I could hold 103c...wish there was one in the race that said: Relax, you're in front. Today, everything went well
Dag down on a 4th place, it gives even more excitement in points
Next Mexico, but there are tracks that definitely are not my favorite
How unfortunate can we be, a whole chain reaction out of Ascari, so badly Sergio, Tron & Xug
Grats to all of You & Thanks for - as always - a fun day here at PDLR
